We will be heading to the airport in a few hours to start our journey home. Since we arrived in Guangzhou last Friday we have had difficulty connecting to WiFi, so we haven't been able to update the blog or email anyone. Steve hard-wired his work computer, so I'm able to post a quick update. To say that this trip has been stressful and difficult would be an understatement! Alexa had pneumonia the first week and has continued to struggle with a horrible cough. The rest of us have been quite ill as well. Thankfully, we are well enough to travel home. On a positive note, we are in love with our little girl and are thrilled to be bringing her home!

And she is just so darn cute!!!

We have Alexa! She is very sweet, but still a bit withdrawn. Amazingly, Hannah has stepped into the big sister role with pure joy and excitement. Definitely an answer to prayer! I will post more photos and details later ...

Thanks to the talent and graciousness of my friend Beverly, Hannah helped sew a new blanket for Alexa! I'm so grateful for good friends ... and soft, cuddly blankets! :)
